Cowboys Are Going To Kill Eli Manning

Maybe the first time ever that I am actually rooting for the Cowboys...

"New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning acknowledged Thursday that the autograph on the wall of the visiting locker room at Cowboys Stadium is authentic. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James considers the signature a form of taunting, much like Giants running back Brandon Jacobs postgame dance on the star at midfield after New York's 33-31 victory in the grand opening of the $1.2 billion stadium. The autograph was accompanied by the score of the game and "First win in the New Stadium."

"We won't forget that," said James, a defensive captain who ranted Wednesday about his dislike of the Giants. "It just makes for a more intense game."

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said he "didn't think it was a great thing to do" and seemed puzzled by Manning's explanation.

"Things come back around in this league," Phillips said (ESPN)."

I hope this pissing the Cowboys off, and it really should. If Peyton Manning came into Foxboro and signed the locker room wall the Patriots would flip shit (as would any team). So, hopefully this will be the end of Eli's life...

Eli Manning Injury Update

Hmmm this sounds like a really pussy injury, but...

"Giants quarterback Eli Manning has developed a stress reaction in his right foot that could eventually lead to further injuries which might sideline him indefinitely. A person familiar with Manning's injury told the Associated Press about the latest problem Sunday. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the team has not officially confirmed the problem. Manning has suffered from plantar fasciitis - an injury to the band of connective tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot and inserts into the heel - since hurting the foot against Kansas City on Oct. 4. The stress reaction is not an unexpected development, but the team wants to prevent a stress fracture that could end Manning's year (Sportsline)."

Eli has been horrible of late, and I really think he is a complete fraud. It will be interesting to see if they would really bench him (I doubt it), but at this point it really can't hurt them. Eli is complete inaccurate, and just seems to put the ball up sometimes, which is costing his team. The Giants have been huge disappointments, and I would be surprised if they made the playoffs.

Eli Manning To Play Sunday?

"Eli Manning says he'll play on Sunday against the Raiders, but it might be painful, according to someone who was in the same position. Retired NFL QB Boomer Esiason battle the same injury -- a swelling of the thick tissue on the bottom of the foot, known as plantar fasciitis.

Esiason told the New York Post he expects Manning to play, but, "It's probably one of the reasons I quit, because my feet were killing me. ... You get up out of bed, and if you have wood floors or you're in the bathroom on the tile, every time you put your heel on the ground it's almost like there's a knife going through the heel."

Playing with such pain, it's hard not to see Manning's performance drop off if this injury persists (ESPN)."

This makes zero sense to me. The Giants are playing the Raiders, and no offense to Raider Nation, but the Giants could win this game with an autistic kid playing QB. So, why not rest him? This is a very tough league and everyone knows there are very few "automatic wins", but this is one, and if Eli plays I think it is a big mistake...

Why Eli Manning Sucks

Superbowl or not, he is still the only openly gay NFL player.

And The NFL's Highest Paid Player Is.....

Eli Manning??????????

"Eli Manning has agreed to a new six-year, $97 million contract extension with the New York Giants that will make him the highest-paid player in the NFL with an average salary of roughly $15.3 million (Sportsline)."

What a joke. Eli is maybe in the top 8 in QBs and that is being nice. He doesn't deserve to be better paid then Roethlisberger, Manning, and Brady, but at least we know that the Giants most likely have fucked themselves for years to come......but what a fucking joke.

Eagles 23 Giants 11

One of the craziest NFL seasons continue as the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Giants have been bounced out by the #6 seed Eagles. Eli Manning was awful, and looked like the QB I thought he was up until he took down my Patriots last year, throwing 2 picks, and went only 15-29 for 169 yards. The Giants defense was good enough to win, but poor coaching, turnovers, and their offensive line cost them this game. Twice the Giants had a chance to convert on a 4th and short, just to have the Eagles push them back and turn it over. McNabb was solid in the game, and really moved around in the pocket like the McNabb we knew about 6 years ago. Of course he can't do anything without controversy so he had to pick up a phone on the Giants sideline after bring pushed out of bounds (classy). Anyways, the Eagles move on to take on Arizona (I know sounds odd to me too) in the NFC Championship.

Big Brother STILL The Best

I have never been a huge fan of the Manning boys. I feel like growing up they saw how shitty of a career their father had and were pushed to make something out of themselves in the NFL. Payton just rubbed me the wrong way for a while, he was sorta goofy, seemed a bit dim whited and pretty much just a boring white boy. Then Eli premiered in the league and i like Payton a little more. Eli seemed like a winy bust and not any type of leader. But he proved me wrong, he took the giants to the show and won it all against the evil regime when no one said they could. But Im talkin about Payton here.

Besides being a promotional whore, Payton is one of the best quarterbacks we have ever seen or will ever see in our lifetime. And last night he made his bid for league MVP. Payton brought the Colts back to beat the Jags last night and once again the Colts came from behind to win getting their 8th straight victory. Manning went 29/34 for 364 yrds and 3 TDs.

Payton has made me a change my opinion of him. Not just cuz of last night, but its been a long time coming. Look for the Colts to make a big AFC playoff run.

35 Cleveland, 14 New York

Wellity, Wellity, Wellity. Finally the real ShEli Manning showed. Listen ShEli Manning sucks, always sucked and hopefully the suckfest of a bad QB is over. ShEli singlehandedly lost the game last night by throwing 3 picks and missing passes all game. He was being overrated all year and people were putting him in the second tier of good QBs and he isn't. He is a terrible leader, a bad QB and won a superbowl because of a good defense, a miracle catch and Patriot dropped interceptions.( I hate the Patriots so this isn't me being bitter because of the superbowl)
Get used to this Giants fans:

Derek Anderson also proved that Brady Quinn needs to stay on the bench. Anderson threw for 310 yards and 2 TDs and Braylon Edwards had a great game and actually caught the ball and Anderson rewarded him with 154 yards and 1 TD.

ESPN Best Young QBs

Recently ESPN has put out an article saying who is the best young quarterback and listed the 5 up top. A lot of people said it was Big Ben, and a lot of people say Manning. So I guess here would be my ranking of those 5.

1. Big Ben: He is the fourth highest rated quarterback for a career behind Young, Manning and Warner. 2cnd best winning percentage in the NFL behind Tom Brady. Has won a superbowl. 6-6 and big so he can shake off a lot of defenders, has great pocket presence and game management. Also, has that end of the game drive much like the Bradys and Mannings do, that always seems to win the game. If many people do not think of Ben as an "Elite" QB maybe they should.

2. Eli Manning: I think there is a big drop-off after Ben, and I didn't want to give Manning second, but he won a Superbowl so I have too. Eli brought his game to a different level last year and proved that he isn't a bust. If I could define Eli's career it would one play, you know, "The Tyree Play". I think he may have moved from an alright player to a good player that one play. Also, has to be mentally tough to shrug off the New York media.

3. Tony Romo: You can't judge him because he hasn't won a Superbowl and because of that Seahawks snap. Tony Romo is a good player. He excels well in the regular season with an occasional hiccup but puts up good numbers. He came from no where and when given the chance to start he ran with it. Success is definitely in his future.

4. Phillip Rivers: Rivers has not been a disappointment, but hasn't shown he can be the key contributing factor for the Chargers so they can win a game. Rivers has been to the play-offs it seems like every year with the Chargers but I don't know if that can be thanked to him or LT. He has the worst arm strength out of the bunch, but with his offense that doesn't matter much. I see him as a QB that never wins a superbowl, or gets to one. I don't think he has it in him.

5. Jay Cutler: I truly believe after this season is done, he will be ranked ahead of Rivers. I was not going to judge his early success too heavily. Cutler has all the making of a good QB, a laser arm with a quick release and certainly has proved that early on. But I don't see the personality yet as that leader type. Even in a couple of games I have watched this year, he blows up at a WR who drops the ball rather than ignoring it and focusing on the next play, which you see your Bradys, Mannings, Roethlisbergers do.

The Mannings...A QB family Tradition?

Alright this has been bugging me for a few years now. This perception the being a QB in the NFL is in the genes of the Manning Family pisses me off on many levels. Peyton, what can you say about him? I love to hate him much like I love to hate Derek Jeter, but you have to respect both of them for being complete professionals that are the true "good" guys of their respective sports. Now with that said, I hate Peyton but hes a great QB who may possibly go down as the greatest. Yes, Peyton has all the records but he also has the most INT's and stupid plays to cost his team games (NFC Championship). Then theres Papa Manning, sorry but he sucked, and never came close to doing anything significant other than creating his sons, oh and forcing Eli to the Giants. Ah Eli, I hate you for many reasons, you look like a bitch and although I give credit for the Super Bowl win, your still a bitch. I dont know I just think hes going to become the first NFL player to come out the closet and thats more than enough reason for me to hate you other than you play for a New York based team. With that said, and me just venting about my dislike for the Manning family because they are a bunch of bitches, Peyton is the only one to even lose breath speaking about.
