Romo Finally Put On IR

"The Dallas Cowboys will officially end Tony Romo's season by putting the quarterback on injured reserve, a source said on Tuesday.

Romo has been out since suffering a fractured left collarbone in the second quarter of an Oct. 25 loss to the New York Giants. He was given a six-to-eight-week recovery time but discomfort remains and he does not have full range of motion or strength (ESPN)."

It's about time, I never really understood why they were trying to rush him back when their season has been over for weeks. Why risk him coming back to early and getting him more hurt?

Anyways, it's been a terrible season for the Cowboys, but they have played 1,000 times better since they changed head coaches. Next year (if there is a next year) they should be better, because they just have too much talent to be one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Damn You Romo!!!!!!!!!!

Romo is getting married to this chick (Candice Crawford). I mean I guess good for him, but I really hate him and wish him nothing but the worst. I wonder if he had to explain that be broke is finger when attempting to finger Zach Thomas' ass? Because to be honest, I would think that's be a deal breaker.

2 Quarterbacks I Don't Like, 2 Injuries

"Vikings coach Brad Childress said Monday an MRI on Brett Favre's foot revealed the stress fracture as well as an "avulsion" fracture in the heel bone. An avulsion fracture occurs when a fragment of bone is torn away by a tendon or ligament.

Romo suffered a fractured left clavicle in the second quarter of the Cowboys' 41-35 loss to the New York Giants at Cowboys Stadium." ESPN

Lets start with Favre, If I were the Patriots I would want to see Favre play over Tarvarius Jackson. Favre has been flat out awful this year, and it seems his deal with the devil last year finally ran out.

Tony Romo on the other hand is a devastating injury for the Cowboys, who now with the injury have zero shot of making a comeback for the season. I'm not a big Romo fan however, even I can admit he's a better option than John Kitna. The Cowboys are a mess (called by BMack) and Wade Phillips should be fired this week. Romo will be out 6 to 8 weeks.

Romo/Roy Williams Not Getting Along

"While much of the talk in recent weeks has been the mind-blowing stats being put up by Miles Austin, the disconnect between Tony Romo and Roy Williams continues, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

"Roy and Tony are not on the same page," coach Wade Phillips said. "They're getting closer. They talk to each other afterward, but a couple of times, Tony thought he was going to go here and he went there and vice versa. We've just got to keep working at that."

That work had better start paying off. In order to acquire Williams, the Cowboys gave up three picks in this past draft, and while we don't know yet whether any of those guys will pan out, Williams himself is looking like a bust (ESPN).

I fucking can't stand Roy Williams (and Romo). Williams ruined my fantasy team last year (along with Braylon/Colston). He is nothing but a bust, and if you watch him it is like he never learned the playbook. Austin has been awesome lately, though I really have a hard time believing he is the real deal.

Anyways, fuck the Cowboys.

Brandon Jacobs Bashes Romo

You know I love this even though it is coming from a Giants player...

"Although the teams won't meet until Sept. 20, let the trash-talking between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys begin. Brandon Jacobs talked to Brandon Tierney of ESPN Radio 1050 and had some choice quotes. "I'm not a fan of Tony Romo, no. Keep him in the pocket, he's not that good." Reacting to Romo's free-wheeling playing style, Jacobs said, "his luck will be gone sooner or later. If you were to keep Tony Romo in the pocket he's not that effective." Jacobs' opinion can be summed up thusly: "I don't think he's that good a passer, to be honest with you (ESPN)."

Jacobs is 100% right. Romo is so overrated. He is not accurate, and although he can make some plays when he is moving around I don't think he is anything special. There are so many QBs I would take over Romo if I was starting a team. In the end he is only a big story because the media loves QBs who go out of their way to be famous, and there is always stories following a Dallas Cowboys' QB.

Daily Cowboy Drama

Well, just when you thought you could get some time off from the stupid fucking Cowboys, the media has found a way to bring them back into the spotlight. Last week it was rumors of Owens being cut. This week it is Troy Aikman coming out and ripping Tony Romo.

"I think maybe things happened so quickly for Tony in terms of obscurity to all of a sudden national spotlight that he hasn't fully grasped what being the Cowboys quarterback is all about," Aikman said to Irvin. "And you don't go to Cabo the week before a playoff game. You just don't do it (ESPN)."

I hate Tony Romo probably more than anyone else in the world, but this is just unnecessary. Not only are we talking about last year's playoffs, but we are doing it during a time when really only the Super Bowl should be being discussed. I think Romo is a terrible QB, and that the Cowboys are really just one big soap opera. The last thing they need is former Cowboy greats coming back, and shitting on current players. I really do like Aikman as a commentator, but this is something he should have left alone.

Another Tony Romo Shower Moment

As BMack reported earlier this season Tony Romo may or may not have broke his pinky finger diddeling Zack Thomas' butt. However this latest incident proves that Thomas may have got his sweet revenge:
"As someone who was standing there watching this whole scene unfold, I can tell you the players were shocked. They didn't know what to do. Deon Anderson went out running for emergency help, but Maurer and associate athletic trainer Britt Brown were all over it.

Adam Jones, of all people, was standing there yelling at me, another reporter and a TV camera man to get back. Let me tell you, running into the shower was the last place we needed to be at that moment. When asked later what happened, Romo said, "Um, you know, I was just a little banged up, I guess."

Looks like some more homo erotic behavior happened in the Cowboys locker room.

Oh yea. I'm saying Romo got raped.

T.O. and Romo Fighting?

Apparently Terrell Owens is starting to bicker with QB Tony Romo. Romo should have expected this, actually, everyone on the entire Dallad Cowboys team should have expected this. T.O. is a cancer for anyone who plays with him. He fights with every QB he has played with. He called Jeff Garcia gay, we all know what happened with him and Donovan McNabb and now it will be interesting to see ho it will end with Romo. At this point in T.O.'s career he has gone from being an elite/ play making WR to a good WR. He's not bad, but he's not what he was. If this explodes, I would imagine Jerry Jones would just cut T.O. and stay with Romo. If anything, I would think Roy Williams would and should be complaining for not getting any love in big D.

20 Steelers,13 Cowboys

Yesterday the Steelers won another ugly game against the Cowboys to make their record to 10-3 this season. They came back in the fourth quarter when they were down 13-3. The Steelers came back thanks to Ben Roethlisburger being able to scramble and make something out of nothing, and stout defense. Ben was able to hit Heath Miller late in the fourth to tie the game up 13-13. Pitt then did an extremely ballsy move as they kicked off Dallas and as the Cowboys started the drive that could potentially tie the game up, called their time outs because they thought the defense would be able to stop Tony Romo and the Cowboys. Fortunately for them Romo threw his third pick of the game to Deshea Townsend who returned it for the score.

Pittsburgh has a tough game next week when they battle Baltimore, which is probably going to be a very defense heavy game.

And BMack is right. Romo Blows.

Barber Out vs Steelers

The Cowboys have a tough road to the playoffs, and it didn't get an easier today, as it was announced that Marion Barber will not play because of a dislocated a pinkie toe. With Felix Jones already out for the year, this is really going to hurt any chance of the Cowboys to have any kind of running game. Barber has been having a great year, but not it will be all on Romo's shoulders. I don't believe in the Cowboys' defense, so I guess we will see what the Tony Romo is really made of. If he can battle this team back, and beat the Steelers, then I will shut my mouth for a while about how bad Tony Romo is.

Romo Is Back: Cowboys Still Suck

If you read this site often then you know my feelings on Tony Romo (as seen here: my hatred for Romo). Well he's back (after hurting his finger while fingering PacMan's ass), but does anyone really think this is going to turn around Dallas' season? The Giants have already run away with the NFC East, so all the Cowboys can hope for is a wild card spot which will be very tough considering they still have Washington, Pittsburgh, Giants, Baltimore, and Philly left on the schedule. On top of all that, Romo isn't a good QB, the Cowboys defense sucks and has way too many injuries. I only see them winning 3 more games this year, then Wade Phillips will be fired, and everyone will just over rank them again next season. Really, this team consists of a bunch of overpaid shitheads who have no idea what it takes to win. The thing that pisses me off the most is how they are called "America's Team". Who the hell likes this team? Are they "America's Team", because they are from Texas? Fuck Texas, and fuck the Cowboys...die Romo Die.

NFL Injury Updates

Sammy Morris - Will not play today with a knee injury.

LaMont Jordan - Will not play with an ankle injury, that leaves the Pats with Kevin Faulk, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and Heath Evan in the backfield.

Steven Jackson - Will not play today, because of a thigh injury. Antonio Pittman will start in his place.

Tony Romo - Is still out with a broken finger, Johnson will get another start. Hopefully he never plays again.

Clinton Portis - Will play today. He is always banged up, but might be the best RB in the NFL so far.

Brian Westbrook - The bye week helped, and his ribs seems like they have healed up. The Eagles certainly need him.

Anquan Boldin - Will play today, but he will only play 30-35 plays. After that hit it's good to see him back on the field.

That's all I got for now.

Man Parades Streets With Decapitated Head

"Police detained a man accused of chopping off the head of a tenant in his apartment Thursday and then parading with it in the streets of Bangladesh's capital shouting, "I've killed my wife," officials said (FoxNews)."

In no way am I supporting the killing of another person (unless it's Tony Romo), but if you are going to do it, do everyone a favor and do it this way. There will be no way this guy will get away with it, and for him to do something like this it makes us say "damn...she must have really done something wrong" (at least for me). Also, there is no real trial for something like this. No, "the glove doesn't fit you must acquit", just "damn your a sick bastard, and you're going away forever". So, random Bangladesh man, you're a sick fuck, but at least you got me thinking of what she did.

Tony Romo Out Til Mid November

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo doesn't expect to play again until mid-November. That sucks for the Cowboys figuring Brad Johnson is not only the worst QB in the league but also a terrible human. But The Cowboys shouldn't worry about their offense, their defense sucks even more. With Terrence Newman, Roy Williams, Pacman Jones being out, they should be terrified of trying to stop people through the air.

Maybe next year Cowboys

So Now Romo To Play?

Tony Romo has told the Dallas Cowboys he is ready to play this Sunday which goes against reports he would be out for four weeks. With the Dallas Cowboys going through all the bullshit thanks to Pacman Jones, it must be nice to get a breath of fresh air. Of course it is going to be credited to Brett Favre who called him to comfort him. But it is going to be tough for Romo due to the fact he fumbles all the time and with a broken finger he will be more fumble prone on snaps and sacks. I guess I respect Romo more to play through the pain, and I think he did the right thing to play. This is football after all.

Bob's Wish Came True... Sort of

Tony Romo will miss a month with a broken finger on his throwing hand, his pinkie. I blame this of course on Bob cursing him yesterday, and this doesn't only kill the Cowboy's it kills my fantasy team. Boring Brad Johnson is supposed to take Romo's spot as Dallas' QB. This obviously will cost the Cowboys a game or two and in the tough AFC east that might decide a playoff birth. With the loss to Arizona yesterday, this is the last thing the Cowboys needed.

Fantasy alert:
Marion Barber and Felix Jones' stock just completely shot threw the roof.

T.O.'s stock just plummeted.

I Really Hate Tony Romo

I don't know where this rant might go, and I am sorry if you find it offensive:

Let me start by saying I am having a tough time writing this post, because my hands are shaking with hatred, so sorry if the spelling/grammer is awful. I bet on the Cowboys today, and I'll tell you it will never happen again. The last two years I have heard every media outlet tell me how good Tony Romo is, and let me tell you it's not fucking true. He sucks. More then that I think he is one of the worst QBs in the NFL. Matt Ryan at this very moment is a better QB then Tony Romo. I know what you are all going to do, you're going to sit there and look up his stats, and read them off like its the Fucking Holy Bible. Well fuck you, asshole. Look closer, 3 fumbles today. Countless missed passes to open wide receivers. Jon Kitna would be breaking records with this offense, and I don't even like Kitna. Romo is overrated, and wasn't drafted for a reason. The Cowboys have more talent on their offense then the Patriots did last year, and look at them. Terrible coach, terrible owner, terrible QB. Fuck the media for spoon feeding me this crap about how they are America's team. Why? Because they are from Texas? Fuck Texas, yea that's right, if you're from Texas I plain just don't like you. Your whole fucking state makes me sick, and is the reason America is hated around the world. People there, and there fucking unstoppable Bible belt shit pisses me off. Fuck George Bush, fuck big belts, fuck pickup trucks, fuck your gun laws. And you prop up these fucking QBs like they are hot shit, and what has Romo done? Blew a playoff game? Can't make open passes. Oh want to throw out stats, so ahead, I don't care, he is fucking terrible. I hate Owens, crying over this fucking QB? Fucking moron should have been crying over losing McNabb at least he was a real QB. But no, he needs the spot light, so he props up this waste of a fucking life. I don't think I have hated anyone this much, since Bettis. I can't believe it...Romo gets them back in the game, then what does he do when the game is on the line in overtime? He fumbles of course. Jesus Christ, I can't believe this QB gets all this love from the media. Green Bay's Rodgers is 10 times the QB that Romo is, and yet he will probably never get half the love, or respect that Romo gets, and Why because this other asshole waste of space Favre was there. Fuck these overrated pieces of shit. I hate the media, I hate Tony Romo. If I was picking a backyard football game I would take kid from Simon Birch before I would take Tony Romo...Yea this kid
I hope Brady with all his time off, takes Jessica Simpson away from Romo and makes a sex tape. And that's another thing, fuck Jessica Simpson for fucking Romo. Honestly, you can do better, this guy is a piece of shit, and eventually he is going to get what is coming. Fuck the Cowboys, Fuck Texas, Fuck TONY ROMO......

Once again, I am sorry, just something that wasn't going to be held in any longer

ESPN Best Young QBs

Recently ESPN has put out an article saying who is the best young quarterback and listed the 5 up top. A lot of people said it was Big Ben, and a lot of people say Manning. So I guess here would be my ranking of those 5.

1. Big Ben: He is the fourth highest rated quarterback for a career behind Young, Manning and Warner. 2cnd best winning percentage in the NFL behind Tom Brady. Has won a superbowl. 6-6 and big so he can shake off a lot of defenders, has great pocket presence and game management. Also, has that end of the game drive much like the Bradys and Mannings do, that always seems to win the game. If many people do not think of Ben as an "Elite" QB maybe they should.

2. Eli Manning: I think there is a big drop-off after Ben, and I didn't want to give Manning second, but he won a Superbowl so I have too. Eli brought his game to a different level last year and proved that he isn't a bust. If I could define Eli's career it would one play, you know, "The Tyree Play". I think he may have moved from an alright player to a good player that one play. Also, has to be mentally tough to shrug off the New York media.

3. Tony Romo: You can't judge him because he hasn't won a Superbowl and because of that Seahawks snap. Tony Romo is a good player. He excels well in the regular season with an occasional hiccup but puts up good numbers. He came from no where and when given the chance to start he ran with it. Success is definitely in his future.

4. Phillip Rivers: Rivers has not been a disappointment, but hasn't shown he can be the key contributing factor for the Chargers so they can win a game. Rivers has been to the play-offs it seems like every year with the Chargers but I don't know if that can be thanked to him or LT. He has the worst arm strength out of the bunch, but with his offense that doesn't matter much. I see him as a QB that never wins a superbowl, or gets to one. I don't think he has it in him.

5. Jay Cutler: I truly believe after this season is done, he will be ranked ahead of Rivers. I was not going to judge his early success too heavily. Cutler has all the making of a good QB, a laser arm with a quick release and certainly has proved that early on. But I don't see the personality yet as that leader type. Even in a couple of games I have watched this year, he blows up at a WR who drops the ball rather than ignoring it and focusing on the next play, which you see your Bradys, Mannings, Roethlisbergers do.
