Dez Bryant Tells Williams To Fuck Off

Sportscenter is making a big deal out of this story. Honestly, I think it is a non-issue...

Receiver Dez Bryant has done everything right on the field during the first two days of Dallas Cowboys training camp, but he refuses to participate in an NFL rite of passage. According to the rookie first-round pick, Roy Williams and the other veteran receivers can carry their own shoulder pads after practice. Williams gave his pads to Bryant after Sunday's morning practice, but Bryant declined to carry them. Williams threatened to go to "step two" when talking to reporters.

"I'm not doing it," Bryant said. "I feel like I was drafted to play football, not carry another player's pads (ESPN)."

Usually I would jump all over this guy saying that he needs to carry his pads and be a normal rookie, but I hate Roy Williams so much that I really find this whole thing funny. Williams should be carry everyones pads for making so much god damn money and not earning a penny of that. He has to be one of the most overrated players in recent memory, and yet he still gets to cash checks from the Cowboys. I wish Bryant just came out and said that. Something like "Naw man fuck him, he sucks, and has made enough money he can carry his own pads".

Don't get me wrong, Bryant will pay for this in some way, and he will get hazed, but it would be a much stronger statement if it was coming from anyone else other then Roy Williams.

Romo/Roy Williams Not Getting Along

"While much of the talk in recent weeks has been the mind-blowing stats being put up by Miles Austin, the disconnect between Tony Romo and Roy Williams continues, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

"Roy and Tony are not on the same page," coach Wade Phillips said. "They're getting closer. They talk to each other afterward, but a couple of times, Tony thought he was going to go here and he went there and vice versa. We've just got to keep working at that."

That work had better start paying off. In order to acquire Williams, the Cowboys gave up three picks in this past draft, and while we don't know yet whether any of those guys will pan out, Williams himself is looking like a bust (ESPN).

I fucking can't stand Roy Williams (and Romo). Williams ruined my fantasy team last year (along with Braylon/Colston). He is nothing but a bust, and if you watch him it is like he never learned the playbook. Austin has been awesome lately, though I really have a hard time believing he is the real deal.

Anyways, fuck the Cowboys.

Roy Williams Out vs. KC

"ESPN reports that Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips has all but ruled out WR Roy Williams from playing in Week 5 at Kansas City after he failed to practice for a third straight day Friday. Williams is nursing damaged cartilage to three of his ribs, an injury suffered late in Week 4 at Denver (Sportsline)."

Good I fucking hate Roy Williams. He fools everyone every year thinking that he is actually going to be a top WR. Well folks it is never going to happen. He is overrated and never seems to get the playbook down to the point were a QB knows where he is going to be. His talent is unreal, but he has just never put it together...what a waste.

Roy Williams To Bengals

What a great signing, to fix a terrible defense.... Not. Williams is more of a linebacker playing safety and is always a threat to be beaten deep every time he is in there. He is a pass liability and to be a member of a secondary,t hat is quite a terrible thing. Maybe he has a good year, maybe he doesn't. Either way this doesn't help the Bengals too much.

No More Horsecollaring In Big D

Ladies and gentleman, meet your new New England Patriot's safety. This guy has the Pats written all over him. With Rodney Harrison not coming back this would be a great signing for them. You can switch him and Merriweather (?) back and forth and it can work. Williams has limited (No) coverage skills anymore, but he's very good against the run. It'll be weird seeing him on a different team, and there should be a rule about only having one person with the same name on a team.

No Way! Another Cowboys Player Bitchin'

"Crayton and Owens have said they've seen some positive results in the way the offense is running. Williams, however, has been frustrated as the Cowboys have struggled, and admitted as much as Dallas readied for its win-or-go-home game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles (ESPN)."

It has been a while since I have hated a team as much as I hate the Dallas Cowboys this year. In the past I have hated on the Steelers, but at least they were tough. This Cowboys team is just a bunch of whining silly nannies. T.O. bitched a week ago that Romo likes Witten too much and it takes him out of the game. Now Williams is bitching he doesn't get the ball enough. Well My. Williams you might be right, but you also need to understand you are the 3rd best option on the Cowboys offense (not including running backs) behind Witten, and T.O.. I am so sick of hearing the drama show that is the Cowboys, between T.O., Romo, Williams, PacMan, and Jerry Jones, it is like a never ending onslaught of crap. Go to hell Cowboys and get off my TV.

Culpepper to Lions?

Quarterback Daunte Culpepper visited the Detroit Lions Tuesday morning and has initiated contract negotiations following a workout.

I love the move if it happens. Not only because I think Dante could really build a relationship with Calvin Johnson just like he did with Randy Moss, but because someone Bob hates would be starting over Bob's boy Drew Stanton. The Lions have been completely disgusting(in a bad way) this year and a veteran not named Jon Kitna might be the perfect thing they need.

On other Lions news:
Former Lions WR had the best Halloween costume. Williams came dressed as former Lions running back Tatum Bell, who as we know two months ago was accused of stealing the travel bags of Detroit running back Rudi Johnson. Williams was wearing a bellhop uniform with a big name tag that said "T. Bell.

Cowboys Hit Panic Button

The Dallas Cowboys acquired wide receiver Roy Williams from the Detroit Lions on Tuesday. The Cowboys will give up a first-round pick in 2009, plus a third- and sixth-rounder that year for Williams and a seventh-round pick in 2010.

Does this move just seem kind of queer to anyone else? With having play makers like Jason Witten, Terrell Owens, Marion Barber, and Felix Jones is it completely necessary to give up your whole future for a WR that has made one Pro Bowl and tends to drop the ball? With Adam Jones getting banned from football(hopefully) they need a lot more defensive help than offensive. Terrell Owens is getting older and that maybe a cause for his lack of production, but is Roy Williams that great of a replacement? I mean Crayton and Hurd aren't that bad. And it seems like wide receivers like Eddie Royal, Wes Welker, etc always come out of the woodwork.

Is having two people named Roy Williams on the same team annoying?
