The Dallas Cowboys acquired wide receiver Roy Williams from the Detroit Lions on Tuesday. The Cowboys will give up a first-round pick in 2009, plus a third- and sixth-rounder that year for Williams and a seventh-round pick in 2010.
Does this move just seem kind of queer to anyone else? With having play makers like Jason Witten, Terrell Owens, Marion Barber, and Felix Jones is it completely necessary to give up your whole future for a WR that has made one Pro Bowl and tends to drop the ball? With Adam Jones getting banned from football(hopefully) they need a lot more defensive help than offensive. Terrell Owens is getting older and that maybe a cause for his lack of production, but is Roy Williams that great of a replacement? I mean Crayton and Hurd aren't that bad. And it seems like wide receivers like Eddie Royal, Wes Welker, etc always come out of the woodwork.
Is having two people named Roy Williams on the same team annoying?
