David Price may be the next big thing next year and for years to come, but people really need to stop talking like he is the greatest pitcher that ever touched a baseball. He has pitched in only nine games in his career. Nine.
Yesterday he pitched 2.1 innings, let up 2 runs (1 being earned) and 2 Ks. I mean those aren't that impressive. I know the media loves young guys pitching in the Playoffs, but all of Tampa Bays pitching is young, how about praise all of their starting pitchers instead of a relief pitcher.
Also, The "Big Game" James Shields stuff has to stop, it is ridiculous and he hasn't won shit yet. In my mind their is only one Big Game James and that is James Worthy.
