NBA Preseason Power Rankings

1. Celtics- Big three is fine, Rajon is a budding (if not already) superstar, Tony Allen will take over James Posey's role with ease while being more productive offensively, Bill Walker will be a lot better than anyone expects.
2. New Orleans Hornets- Chris Paul is a great player, this is the best defensive team in the West, Posey gives them that much needed perimeter defender.
3. LA Lakers- Kobe will lead them on the court, and since people are already inducting Andrew Bynum into the Hal of Fame they have to be this high?
4. San Antonio Spurs- Window is starting to shut, but with Tim Duncan this team always has a shot.
5. Cleveland Cavaliers- Mo Williams was a hell of an acquisition and should not be overlooked. Also, they have that LeBron guy.
6. Houston Rockets- Yes Ron Artest is crazy, but he is a hell of a players. If Yao and Tracy wil stay healthy they might be able to win a playoff series.
7. Orlando Magic- Dwight Howard is the best center in the league and if Jameer Nelson progresses they will be a tough team to beat in the East.
8. Philadelphia 76ers- Andre Iguadola is teamed up with Elton Brand and in the East, that is al you need. Plus Andre Miller is the most underrated PG in the league.
9. Detroit Pistons- I feel their window is already shut. They can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk anymore.
10. Miami- If D-Wade stays heathy this team will be really good. A big three of Marion, Wade and Beasley is a great nucleus.
11. Dallas Mavs- This is another team that I think doesn't have it anymore. Dirk is a waste of talent and every other player is real old.
12. Phoenix Suns- The only good thing that happened with the Shaq trade is Amarie Stoudamire's numbers. Hopefully Nash will learn how to defend.
13. Toronto Raptors- Chris Bosh and his gang of tall three point shooters will need a lot of interior offense from Jermaine O'Neal to be taken seriously.
14. Portland Trailblazers- Some people think they are too young, but Greg Oden adds 12 years to the teams average age.
15. Denver Nuggets- Lots of offense, but no defense. Giving away Marcus Camby wasn't to smart.
16. Atlanta Hawks- So what the lose Josh Childress. Josh Smith is the best all around player in the NBA hands down, also Joe Johnson will need to improve.
17. Washington Wizards- Gilbert Arenas is injured, Jamison can't defend. All signs point to a .500 team.
18. Los Angeles Clippers- Baron Davis and Marcus Camby were both really good additions. Also, I believe rookie Eric Gordan will be a top 3 rookie.

The rest of the teams aren't worth my time.

Bobcats and Thunder slug it out for worst team in the league.
