NBA Breakdowns: New Orleans Hornets
Offseaon moves:
• Sold their first-round pick to Portland.
• Let Bonzi Wells go, signed James Posey to four-year, $24 million deal.
• Extended Chris Paul for three years for the maximum.
I like this team to come out of the West easily. They are a tough defensive team with the addition of James Posey, and the compliments of Chris Paula and Tyson Chandler. The Hornets can pretty much score at will with their pick and roll game and have excellent three point depth with Peja Stojakavich, Paul and Posey. This team has progressed every year since Paul has came to the league and I expect nothing less in 09.
The New Orleans Hornets will represent the Western Conference in the Championship. (and of course lose to the Celtics)
You heard it first.
