The Dodgers say that they are willing to pay him the money but not give him the length he wants which is 5-6 years. The Dodgers are only saying 2. My feelings on Manny is the same way I feel about Gilbert Arenas, assholes that only care about that green. The things Manny brings to the table 1. He rarely misses a lot of time, he averages over 140 games a year, 2. He can be marketed, 3. He is a great playoff hitter, 4. He could be the greatest right handed hitter that has ever lived. However, he is 36 years old and probably can't keep it up, and it is buyers beware when you get him because it only takes 1 situation that can make him turn against you. If I were the Dodgers I would offer him a 3 year deal worth 90 million dollars. Yes, I said it, 30 mil a year for this guy.
