Charles Barkley Has Something To Say

"I was mad at the players, to be honest with you," Barkley said Tuesday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I think it was inappropriate and wrong to question a guy's heart. Now reporters, they're going to do what they want to. They're entitled to their opinion. But as players, I don't think it's appropriate to question another guy's heart.

"That crosses the line, because you don't know. If you go back and start looking at all the stuff that's been said, and clearly one of the more vocal critics was Maurice Jones-Drew, and then you find out he missed the last two games with a bad knee. And he was really the first guy who crucified Jay. You have to be careful, because in the two most important games of the year, he sat out with a bad knee. And then it really makes him look like an idiot now."

I agree with Charles 100%. I think the talk about Jay Cutler's heart or lack of should be talked about from the media, fans and former players, but for current players to sell out their peers is kind of bullshit. And the biggest puss move for the players like Maurice Jones-Drew and others have are "the taken out of context" excuse. Jones-Drew said, " "Hey I think the urban meyer rule is effect right now... When the going gets tough........QUIT." I would have had much more respect for Jones-Drew if he stood by his comments.

I'm not a big fan of athletes tweeting, and especially tweeting negative things because they are in the safety of their own homes. If I were a coach I would ban it completely.

Jay Cutler Has Sprained MCL

I was really hoping that he tore it for his own sake, however the MRI is back and he sprained his MCL. I partially tore my MCL and ACL freshman year in school and have to admit that it was really painful. So I understand he was in pain, but in his situation I feel he needed to push it. His whole team/ city was relying on him and he let them down.

I think it's because who he is, and his past of being a baby really killed him in this case. No one would have ever questioned Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Ben Roethlisberger if they ever sat out. But Cutler's sideline demeanor and diva past brings up all of these questions.

I personally think he should have Brett Favre'd it and played even if it would have hurt his team. He will be back next year, but if nothing substantial gets done I wouldn't be surprised if in 2013.

Conference Championship Preview: NFC

Packers at Bears

The first game on Sunday’s docket features divisional foes, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. The game will be played at Soldiers Field in downtown Chicago kickoff is slated for 3pm.

Packers and Bears split their regular season series, each winning on their home field. While some question the climate of the second matchup, in which, Green Bay needed to win in order to clinch a playoff spot, unlike Chicago who had already clinched the number 2 seed in the NFC and essentially had nothing to play for. However, contrary to that idea, head coach Lovie Smith kept his starters in for the entire game and the Packers were able to edge the Bears 10-3. In their first matchup, special teams proved to be the deciding factor in a 20-17 Bears victory. Devin Hester was able to return a punt 62-yards for a touchdown, which supplemented Chicago’s stagnant offense. A pair of Robbie Gould field goals, the latter of which was drilled with :04 seconds left, sealed the win for the Bears.

So what did we learn from the first two games, these two teams are very even. This game is certainly going to come down to a lot more than Aaron Rodgers vs. Jay Cutler. Both teams are going to rely on their defense and/or special teams units to come up with points, or at the very least, a turnover.

While neither team was able to show a formidable running game in the regular season, they cannot abandon the ground game completely. In their first game in Chicago, Jay Cutler was the Bear’s leading rusher with 37 yards; the Bear’s cannot expect to win on Sunday if this is the case. Likewise, Rodgers led the Packers in rushing yards in their victory over the Bears in week 17.

It will be important for both teams to establish some form of a rushing attack. For the Packers, I think the answer is 6th round draft pick, James Starks. Starks has shown that he is more explosive than Brandon Jackson, incumbent to injured starter Ryan Grant, and he is more versatile. On wild card weekend, Starks torched Philadelphia for 123 yards on 23 carries. Even though he was slowed down against a tough front seven from Atlanta, Starks still carried the ball 25 times, providing balance to the Packers “pass happy” offense. However, the real challenge will be taking on the Bears second ranked rush defense.

For Chicago, the key to running the ball will have to be a healthy mixture of Matt Forte and off-season pick-up, Chester Taylor. Since it is quite evident that neither back is capable of managing the load, both must be used to keep the Packers guessing. Forte has good explosiveness and is an elite pass-catching back, while Taylor is a better blocker and more of a north-south type runner. If these backs together can total 100 yards, Chicago will be in good shape.

As far as passing is concerned, Aaron Rodgers is playing as well as you can play the position right now. After dissecting the Eagles defense for 3 touchdowns two weeks ago, Rodgers picked up right where he left off against Atlanta, tossing for 3 more scores in a decisive road victory. The Rodgers to Jennings connection appears to be unstoppable and the Bear’s 20th ranked pass defense could be in for a long afternoon if they do not disrupt the league's 5th best passing offense. If Jennings is curtailed by Charles Tlilman on Sunday, look for James Jones and slot receiver Jordy Nelson to create mismatches against a porous Bears’ secondary. As mentioned earlier, if the Packers offense can have the benefit of 30+ combined carries from Starks and Jackson, their play action calls are going to give Chicago nightmares.

On the other side of the ball, Jay Cutler will look to bring his playoff record to 2-0. That’s right last Sunday marked the first post-season game of Cutler’s life. He never qualified for a bowl while playing at Vanderbilt, and failed to make the tournament in any of his four previous seasons as an NFL starter. Although his lack of experience in late January is worth noting, Cutler was able to silence all the critics last week with a 4 TD (2 passing, 2 rushing) performance last week against Seattle. Crucial to Cutler’s success is his ability to remain upright in the pocket. Green Bay will dial up every blitz in the book to pressure Cutler into making mistakes, which has been his downfall throughout his career. He should be especially weary of blitzing duo Clay Matthews charging off the edge, and Charles Woodson coming on the corner blitz, a specialty of Green Bay’s stout defense.

Defensively, Green Bay has to depend on their defense to do what they do best, create turnovers. Aside from maybe the Baltimore Ravens, the Packers are the best in the league at hurrying the quarterback and forcing him to throw before he is ready. Defensive tackle, B.J. Raji, makes things very difficult for opposing offensive linemen. He commands a double team on virtually every snap. This leaves an empty gap for Matthews to rush free causing the quarterback to either wet himself or throw the ball too quickly, or sometimes both. Their lockdown secondary consisting of Charles Woodson, Tramon Williams, and Nick Collins have essentially clinched the previous two playoff games. The first of which was a Collins interception to prevent a game winning touchdown against the Eagles, and most recently, Williams’ pick-six of Matt Ryan at the end of the first half from which the Falcons never recovered.

Chicago, like Green Bay, will need to diagram some creative blitz packages to throw the unflappable Aaron Rodgers off his rhythm. Easy for me to say, but very difficult to execute. Veteran linebacker core led by Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs have to eliminate all underneath routes and force Rodgers to throw to the sidelines. Like I mentioned before, both teams need something special to happen on defense and or special teams, this applies double to the Bears. Their offense is suspect at best and with Cutler’s inconsistent play, this game weighs heavily on the broad shoulders of the Bears’ defense. If the Packers play turnover free football, it could be curtains for Chicago’s playoff run. However, if the Bears are able to generate a strip-six or a punt return TD from Hester, this could put Chicago in a fortuitous position of playing with a lead, something they do exceptionally well.

Normally these games go down to the wire, but I am picking the team that can get out to the quick lead. I think both defenses are good enough to protect it for their respective offenses. In the end, I do not see Chicago having the firepower to contend with a dangerous Packers team.

Jay Cutler Out vs. Panthers

The Chicago Bears will start Todd Collins at quarterback on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers while Jay Cutler continues to recover from a concussion. I have to admit I started to buy into the fact that he was faking it, but obviously now that just isn't true. Martz is really going to need to adjust, because Collins is not going to pull of the same throws Cutler does. If he was smart he would run the ball down the Panthers throat, but then again we are talking about Martz so "being smart" really isn't his thing.

Anyways, the Bears should still win, because the Panthers are just that bad.

Surprise, Surprise Cutler Still A Douche

"Jay Cutler didn’t get off to a good start with Josh McDaniels when the former Pats offensive coordinator took over in Denver and apparently, he hasn’t forgotten. Cutler told the Chicago Sun Times, “I just didn’t feel I could trust Josh.” Cutler said that he knew he wasn’t McDaniels choice to be his quarterback, but the relationship broke down after he felt that McDaniels didn’t own up to his attempts to trade him. ”He acted like he had no idea what I was talking about,” Cutler told the paper. ”Then it took him two or three days to finally admit that he tried to trade me.” McDaniels had no comment (WEEI)."

Whether or not what he is saying is true, it really doesn't matter. Bottom line is that he is a Bear now, and is coming off a year in which he looked more like Rex Grossman then Brett Favre. He should probably focus on getting his act together, rather then worry about his former team.

I like Josh McDaniels, and although there have been a lot of stories of him "running players out of town", part of thinks he just dealt a bad hand of douchebags, and Cutler living in the past just gives my theory more credibility.

Urlacher Thinks Bears Should've Kept Orton

"Back in July, there was a rumored feud between Brian Urlacher and Jay Cutler -- with Urlacher referring to his new teammate as a [wimp] to Bobby Wade -- but at least publicly, Urlacher denied that he said anything of the sort. But in a column written by Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports following a hijinks-filled weekend with No. 54 in Chicago, perhaps there's something to those initial rumors.

While Urlacher doesn't call Cutler's manliness into question, he does think the move to get him was a mistake: "Look, I love Jay, and I understand he's a great player who can take us a long way, and I still have faith in him," Urlacher said. "But I hate the way our identity has changed. We used to establish the run and wear teams down and try not to make mistakes, and we'd rely on our defense to keep us in the game and make big plays to put us in position to win. Kyle Orton might not be the flashiest quarterback, but the guy is a winner, and that formula worked for us. I hate to say it, but that's the truth (ESPN)."

DP and I said it right after the trade that the Bears gave up way too much for Cutler. I will admit that I thought Cutler was a way better QB, but Urlacher could be on to something here. The Bears are just a different team. They used to be a team that would out physical you, and protect the football. Now they have a gun slinging QB that throws a lot of picks, and the defense is just not what it used to be. Saying that, I still think Urlacher is wrong to come out and say this. The Bears made a choice, and Urlacher needs to fall in line and be supportive.

Fuck Jay Cutler

here is another rant so walk with me:

Fuck Jay Cutler. This little fucking diabete's crying bitch threw 5 picks against the 49ers last night. Remember when everyone and their mother was questioning Josh McDaniels for getting rid of their "franchise" qb. Well, he must have known something we didn't because he is the biggest waste in the world. He would honestly be next to Jamarcus Russell in worst qb's in the league. He is a glorified Jeff George. He has the arm, he has the size, but he can't read a fucking defense. The Bears were picked to be right up their with the Packers and Vikings in their division, now look. (even though the Pack have beenn a major dissapointment too) Cutler has just lost them games this season, he sucks, and it makes the Bronco's look like the smartest team ever. I give Cutler two more years in the NFL.

Bears Give Culter 2 Year Extension

"The Chicago Bears and quarterback Jay Cutler have agreed on a two-year contract extension that runs through the 2013 season. A person familiar with the negotiations said the deal includes approximately $20 million guaranteed and roughly $30 million in new money. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the terms were not released (Sportsline)."

Cutler is by far the best QB the Bears have had in a long time, and now they know they have their QB for the foreseeable future. The Bears are a solid team, but they still are going to need to put more talent around Culter if they want to be a top team. Their defense could also use some work...

Jay Cutler is Not Matt Cassel

Every morning I workout and listen to Dennis and Callahan on WEEI. It's good motivation. I've got a loud, old-school exercise bike, and listening to Belichick/Pioli/Cassel conspiracy theories makes me pedal the bike faster and faster, trying to spin the wheel louder and louder to drown out the idiocy of people who think Darth Belichick would ever do anyone a favor.

Now, if you think Belichick made a mistake in the Cassel deal, that's fair. That makes sense. It's the conspiracy theorists who should have their feeble and useless brains removed from their skulls, and fed to pigs.

Here's the difference between the Jay Cutler deal and the Matt Cassel deal:

1. Timing:
The Cassel deal had to get done quickly. There couldn't be any waiting for the Buccaneers and Broncos to get together for a threeway deal. The Patriots had no cap room. None. Zero. Zilch. You can't sign people if you're already at the cap. Remember, this Cutler to Chicago deal has been in the works in one way or another for weeks.

2. Contracts:
Matt Cassel has one year under contract, and that year costs $14.6 million. In other words, the Chiefs have one season with him, and it will cost them a pretty good chunk of change. If Cassel does well, he's not going to take a paycut in 2010. He'll get the same, or more, and the Chiefs will have to bid with other teams. If he performs poorly, the Chiefs waste $14.6M.

Cutler, on the other hand, has 3 years remaining on his deal. Each year is worth about $12 million. So for the Bears, if Cutler performs, they get him for 3 seasons. If he sucks, they cut him or trade him.

3. Different Players:
Believe it or not, Matt Cassel is not Jay Cutler. Cassel is actually older than Cutler. Cassel has thrown 555 NFL passes, Cutler has thrown 1,220. Cassel might be better than Cutler, but Cutler is more proven. Cutler's QB rating is 87.1. Cassel's is 88.2. In 2008, Cutler was throwing to Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal. Cassel was throwing to Randy Moss and Wes Welker. Neither QB has any significant playoff experience.

The key difference is experience. Cutler has twice as much. With Cassel, there are bigger question marks. He struggled throwing the deep ball, even with Moss. He struggled in the red zone. Without Wes Welker catching 111 passes in 14 games (7.9 per game), is Cassel even as good as Cutler? Time will tell.

Conclusion:
There is less risk for the Bears in the Cutler deal. They get 3 years under contract, and a player with more experience and less unknowns. There was also plenty of time for the deal to get made. Remember, this drama has spanned weeks.

At the same time, the difference in value between the Patriots' deal, and the Bears' deal is staggering. Think how happy Chiefs fans must be, seeing how cheaply they got Cassel.

The Patriots could have shopped around a bit more aggressively, and at the very least driven the price up. They could have gotten the Chiefs to throw in a 3rd rounder, or at least a 4th rounder.

But again, the problem was the lack of buyers. Plenty of teams want QBs, but not all of them were interested in Cassel. And then there were teams that wanted Cassel, but already had QBs. So any deal with them would have to involve three teams.

Franchising Cassel cost the Pats value in the trade. Had they been supergeniuses and extended his contract before the season (hindsight is great, isn't it?), they could have traded him for anything they wanted to, or even held on to him as a backup. That was the best-case scenario move. But it would have required such foresight and intuition, that it's hard to criticize the Patriots for not doing it.

Was there a conspiracy?

Nope

Did Belichick get "fleeced?"

Nah, not really

Did he get the best deal he could have?

No

Is he human?

No, but he was designed and built by humans.

-The Commodore

Why Is Cutler Worth So Much More Than Cassel?

The Jay Cutler trade really shows how the Patriots got bamboozled by the Chiefs in the Matt Cassel trade. If Cassel was going to take over for Cutler, shouldn't Cassel be worth more than just a second round pick? I'm not going to sit back here and argue that Cassel is better than Cutler, but yesterdays deal isn't a fair measuring stick between both QBs. The Broncos got a ridiculous deal in pulling Kyle Orton, two number ones and a number 3 draft picks for an attitude problem, potential alcoholic, immature quarterback, that only has "potential" in his defense. Matt Cassel showed no signs of immaturity, and obviously was willing to learn and embrace any role he was given. That alone backed up with last years stats makes Cassel at least worth a first round pick. A lot of people are going to argue and say, "The Patriots didn't want a first round pick because of the money." Well that is just bullshit. A mid first round pick talent is a lot different than an early second round pick. The fact of the matter is that the Patriots, for the first time in a real long time got had. Sucks, but it's true.

Breaking News: Jay Cutler To Bears

The Chicago Bears pulled the big upset Thursday afternoon by acquiring Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler, a source told ESPN.com.

The deal includes Bears send Kyle Orton and two first round picks for the 2009, 2010 years and this years 3rd round pick, and the Bears get 5th round pick for this year and Jay Cutler.

This is a hell of a move by Chicago. They are instant Superbowl contenders for next year. Cutler is a young, "potential" filled QB, and if he can win a couple of games on the offensive end, the Bears will win 13 games a year. As for the Broncos, they get Orton, who is manageable, and they will probably pick up Josh Freeman or Mark Sanchez in the first.

BMack's Take:

"Denver agrees to trade Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears. The Broncos will receive first-round picks in 2009 and '10, a No. 3 pick this year and Kyle Orton, the 'Chicago Sun-Times' reports (Sportsline)."

Wow, I am even shocked about how much the Broncos got. I think Cutler is a very good QB, but this is just silly. We all know the Broncos had to move this guy, and the Bears still have to give up 2 first round picks, a third round pick, and Orton. At least now the Bears finally have a QB, but man this really gives the Broncos a chance to rebuild quickly. Good for Josh McDaniels for getting this done so fast, and for this much....more tomorrow.

Jay Cutler Never Wanted To Be Traded Now?

"I was surprised they decided to trade me this soon," Cutler told FoxSports.com. "I didn't want to get traded. This wasn't me. They [The Broncos] had been going back and forth saying things, wanting me to be their quarterback and then they didn't.

"I really didn't want this. I love Denver. I really like my teammates. I didn't want it to get this far."

If that isn't the most chicken shit, puss move I have ever heard. Cutler obviously wanted to be traded. That is why he put his house on the market, referred to the Broncos in the past tense, and oh yea, demanded to be traded. Jay Cutler is probably getting cold feet because his demands are coming true and he didn't want to seem like an asshole when he left Denver. If he really liked his teammates he wouldn't have put himself above the team when he demanded to leave.

Fuck Cutler. Die.

Jay Cutler Story

I usually hate Mark Schlereth, but I thought he did a good job talking about the jay Cutler story. I have been defending Cutler, but the way he is handling this is wrong. I still think he is a good QB, but there is no reason for him to have taken this so far...

Breaking News: Cutler For Romo

This makes sense two overrated Douchebags for each other. The terms for the deal are being sorted out now. To read the full story Click Here

Broncos Want To Trade Cutler

The Broncos said, "Ahh, fuck it, we will trade Cutler after all." Normally us at DuelingCouches.com would just write a rant piece on how much we hate Jay Cutler or are annoyed by Jay Cutler and end it by telling him to die, however, this is April. It's a new month. So I am going to analyze the potential solutions and scenarios that may happen.

The Broncos will have a ton of people in line for getting Cutler, but the most interested will be the Lions, Jets, Bears, and Buccaneers. I also am assuming that the Broncos don't want the first overall pick because the ridiculous money they will have to give Stafford, so that leaves them with the Jets at 17, Bears at 18, Bucs at 19 and Lions at 20. The Broncos now could do a couple things in just get picks or get picks plus a decent QB back. I'm not saying that Kyle Orton is a good QB or even a decent qb, but he is the only worth while qb on any of those teams. Another option would be trading him to Cleveland and getting Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn back, but I'm not sure either team will want to do that. My gut feeling on where Cutler will be next year is the Jets. Last year the owner of the Jets said, go out and get Brett Favre and they did, so I believe he is going to say the same thing about Cutler. If Cutler went to the Jets that would put them in instant superbowl contention. Not because he is a great qb, but because he is a good qb. He will not disappear like Brett Favre did last year, and will always keep defensive backs honest because he can air it out. This will make Thomas Jones and Leon Washington that much more important and scary.

For Denver this would give them a couple of options. The first one is that they could sign a guy like Jeff Garcia or Byron Leftwich to hold the fort down and draft a guy like Josh Freeman or Mark Sanchez(if he is still around). Either way it looks like Cutler got his way and I hate him and wish he dies.

Cutler To Jets?

Jay Cutler wants out of Denver and the Jets have told the Broncos they want him if they decide to trade him.

Multiple sources told the Daily News Sunday at the opening of the NFL meetings that Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum contacted the Broncos to let them know the Jets are very interested in trading for Cutler. But the Jets have yet to make a trade offer, and the Broncos have not said what they want, because Denver has not determined the Cutler situation is beyond repair.

But this much is clear: The Jets are definitely in the Cutler Derby. They will closely monitor the situation and are prepared to put together a package when the Broncos tell them the time has arrived. "Of course the Jets want Cutler," one source said. "Why wouldn't they?" More

Man this would be great. The Jets are a QB away from being a ridiculous team and If Cutler goes to them, it instantly puts them in not only play off contention, but to superbowl contention. With The Bills getting T.O., and if the Jets get Cutler, the Pats would no longer be the top dog in the AFC East. The Jets should really do everything in their power to get the young gunslinger.

Josh McDaniels Breach of Trust?

Broncos Quarterback Jay Cutler met with new head coach Josh McDaniels over the weekend to address the recent trade controversy whirling around the Denver QB to no apparent resolve. As we all know Cutler believes McDaniels misled him regarding possible trade proposals, many of which pointed directly to stand out New England fill-in Matt Cassel. McDaniels admits that he listened to teams inquirements about Cutler, yet laid claim that he would for any player on his roster. Cutler has already been rumored to have put a couple of his Denver area homes and properties on the market amidst the controversy, and seems to be convinced a trade is both neccessary and looming.

Cutler feels like he can't trust McDaniels, and it seems like their relationship has been doomed from the start. Cutler didn't show up for McDaniels first team meeting Monday, displaying a blatant disrespect of his new coach. I am definetly not alone in thinking like Cutler is overreacting a bit on this one? Demanding a trade? Of course teams would be willing to trade for a half descent starting QB, but Cutler obviously does not apparently adapt well to change. Even with the whole possible Matt Cassel controversy, Cutler refuses to stand up and prove why he should be the starting guy, and is now ready to denounce his time all together in Denver. With the team refusing to take any sort of draft pick compensation for Cutler, it is apparent the Broncos may at least give a last ditch attempt to work out their differences, or apparently see what other teams are willing to offer.

Cutler Demands Trade

Well it seems as if the relationship between disgruntle QB Jay Cutler and the Denver Broncos is going to come to an unpleasant marriage before the draft. Cutler has already sold his house and cutting ties in Denver. Bob and I both don't really understand what the Broncos are thinking, but whatever. So with that being said, this what I have to say to Jay Cutler.

Dear Jay,
SHUT THE FUCK UP. You are an unproven fucking quarterback with no real ground to stand on. If you didn't fucking choke at the end of the fucking season your team would have made the fucking play-offs. You and Jeff George are the exact same player. Fuck yourself, fuck you attitude, the NFL is a fucking business and that is what you have to realize cock smooch. If you didn't want your feelings to be hurt you should have chose another fucking job. You are making millions of dollars to play a fucking game, while people with more credible jobs like policeman, firemen and teachers are getting paid shit. Go realize how incredibly fucking lucky you are to have a job in this economy and shut the fuck up.

Dave

Just a few things...

-First off, I can't be happier that the Yankees are now going from the greatest franchise history to the greatest franchise in history to harbor steroid users. The best part is they still don't win. Special thanks to Giambi and A-Rod for solidifying their place in history as useless steroid users that can't win when it counts. I used to have respect for them, though I hate them, but its too bad that the sporting dilemma has gone from bad to worse.

-The news of A-Rod is not really surprising in our generation of roider's and cheats. Personally I don't believe that roids give that much of an advantage in baseball because either u can hit or throw or you can't. The distance and velocity doesn't mean shit if the player doesn't have the talent initially to make in to the show. However i was baffled that only A-Rod was called out on this list, either give up everyone or no one at all.

-I hate Bud Selig, this guy has fucked up big time. He did the right thing to take the necessary steps to deter steroid users from continuing their faulty decision making. But come on, why was this list that came out show up on the Mitchell report? I think its a conspiracy because he is no fool to letting his most marketable name be link with the use of performance enhancers. Like our country as a whole its time for baseball to go in a different direction and be lead by someone with youth and knowledge of the changing times to make the necessary changes that the sport needs to take to remain, and in some regards regain its role as the most followed sport in our culture. Plus, how do you fuck up an all star game? Seriously what kind of ass clown do you have to be to accomplish this?

-Well, well, well TO got cut. This is no surprise cause this guy is a selfish little cock sucking bitch that cries when his team can succeed without him being the cause. While Terrell has compiled hall of fame numbers he will never win a Super Bowl, and will continue his league wide merry-go-round of fucking each organization side ways until he retires. I can't say adding this threat won't provide results for the Bills, but they will never win with him and hopefully for the sake of Edwards and Lee he doesn't fuck up their continuity and deter them from progressing and improving year in and year out. Fuck you TO you fucking franchise ruiner.

-I have been enjoying the WBC this time around. Did the Netherlands really knock out the DR what the fuck is that about? I guess its true what they say that anyone can win on any given day. Who the fuck would have thought it would have been two loses to the fucking Netherlands. I don't know what to think about this, I am just baffled a team full of MLB stars can loose to a team that has two players in the show. Otherwise, this tournament has been entertaining with the USA make Venezuela their bitches, Japan showing that no one can compete with them in the general Asian area, and the entertaining play from guys who are auditioning for possible future MLB contracts a la Dice-K in the 2006 WBC.

-As for the Pats moving Cassell and Vrabel, I like the move because it allows them to sure up cap space to bring in more and younger players to fill the holes that fucked them in the ass last year. I would have loved to see a better draft choice but I trust in the brilliance of the hoody. I just love the out come of Cutler showing the world the bitch that he really is. My thoughts of the rumors surrounding him is that he shouldn't be surprised that he was shopped, hell who in their right mind wouldn't want a QB molded into the likes of Tom Brady, one of the greatest signal callers of all time? Oh and Culter get the sand out of your cunt and play, your making millions to play a sport that you just may be overrated in.

-Finally, Clay Buchholtz is showing the dominance that the Sox have been coveting for the last three years. I love this, I love seeing everyone jumping back on his nuts and proclaiming that he is nasty. My fellow blogger's kicked the kid when he was down saying he wasn't shit because he lost himself last year, but as usual people are quick to come to conclusions and down play the potential that our athletes posses. These signs of maturity and growth only adds to the prospects of the up coming season for the Sox. Be ready fans for a vastly improved pitcher that will make an unexpected, to you doubters, productivity. I believe that his reemergance will allow Tito and Epstien to keep Masterson in the bullpen to get those most out of their your pitchers.
