I watched like three minutes of this game and it blew. Even though my alliance was with the East, this game was irrelevant. The NBA All Star week in general is lame. The Horse competition was lame, the dunk competition was lame, the rookie/ sophomore game was lame and the actual all-star game was lame.
As for the game itself, the West dominated the East and Shaq and Kobe were co-mvps. Awwwe. This probably means the feud is over and we will not be hearing any "Kobe tell me how my ass tastes" raps any time soon.
Some feelings on how the All-Star weekend can be saved:
1. I agree with Reggie Miller's idea for horse and think some old timers should be involved. How cool would it be if Bird, MJ, and Magic all played horse.
2. While LeBron being in the dunk contest next year will surely bring the hype back. The need more stars doing it. their should never be a case where JR Smith or Rudy Fernandez is ever in a dunk competition ever again.
3. Take away fan voting.
4. Have a rule that if you want a timeout during the actual all star game you have to kick Kobe Bryant in the nuts first.
