Alex Rodriguez tested positive for two different steroids in 2003, his first MVP season, 'Sports Illustrated' is reporting on its website.
ESPN, According to the report, which was posted Saturday morning on SI.com, sources told the publication that Rodriguez was on a list of 104 players who tested positive that year, when Major League Baseball conducted tests to see if mandatory random drug testing was needed.
Asked if there were an explanation for the positive test result, Rodriguez told SI: "I'm not saying anything."
Wow, this is huge news and news I didn't expect. It seems like everyone was so fast to judge McGuire, Sosa, Bonds but not A-Rod. A-Rod seemed like he was all natural but why shouldn't we have suspected differently. He is a scumbag and always been a scumbag. I'm just glad that his career is irrelevant.
