Rashard Mendenhall Gets Robbed

CHICAGO (AP) -- Police and family members say Pittsburgh Steelers first-round draft pick Rashard Mendenhall was robbed at gunpoint along the Chicago lakefront early Monday.
Mendenhall's mother says the former University of Illinois running back was not hurt in the robbery.
Sybil Mendenhall tells the Chicago Tribune that two people took her son's wallet and cellular telephone.
Police spokesman John Mirabelli says a man and a woman were robbed around 2 a.m. Monday by two offenders. No one is in custody.

I'm not one to come up with conspiracies, however, I believe the Patriots are behind this because they are jealous of the Steelers draft. Mendenhall was said to be second best RB on many people's boards, while grabbing Limas Sweed who was the number 1 WR on many teams boards in the second round.

Jerod Mayo and Terrence Wheatley have not been brought in for questioning, but are being great practice squad players.
