The Spurs only took game 1, and I'm exhausted. This match-up has turning out to live up to its expectation needing 2 overtimes and a Tim Duncan three for the Spurs to pull this one out.
40 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists were Tim Duncan's Stats. They needed every point of it too, with time running out in the first overtime, Manu Ginobili couldn't find a shot than passed it to a wide open Tim Duncan for a game tying three pointer to send it into its second overtime, which ultimately led to the Suns demise. In the Second overtime Steve Nash hit an improbable three pointer to tie it up with 12 seconds left, and then Manu ran up the court and got a lay-up with 1.3 left on the clock. Shaq looked good in this first game proving he can play a lot of minutes with 46 and still be a contributer with 11 points and 4 blocks. I believe this is the best first round match-up and whoever wins this, will win the west.
