This Would be Funny

I hate Pete Carroll and his whining about the big bad BCS further reinforced that hatred. Don't want to be ranked 7th? Then don't lose to an inferior team. Maybe if USC actually had a coach instead of a bunch of athletes, they'd never lose.



Speaking of not losing, USC can win all their remaining games and NOT win the Pac-10. If Oregon State wins their final three, THEY'LL be Pac-10 Champs due to their head-to-head win over USC. Of course, the Beavers have to beat Cal, Arizona, and Oregon, three of the better teams in the conference. But that doesn't mean much in the lowly Pac-10.

So USC could go 11-1 and not make the National Championship Game, or the Rose Bowl. That'd be funny. They might not even make the BCS with Utah possibly receiving an automatic berth (non-BCS conference champion ranked 12th or better), and the 2nd best teams from the SEC and Big XII possibly winning at-large bids.

How awesome would it be to see the Trojans playing in the Brut Sun Bowl or the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl?
