Patriots 48, Dolphins 28
Another victory for The New England Patriots for the 2008-2009 season. Today the Miami Dolphins hosted the New England Patriots at Dolphin Stadium. It did not look like a strong lead for the Patriots; three times during the game the Patriots lost the lead, and three times they got it back.
Matt Cassel held his own, throwing 415 yards, three of which ended in the arms of Randy Moss for touchdown passes that helped lead the Pats to the 48-28 victory over the Dolphins. The Dolphins now no longer hold onto their four game winning streak, this may hurt their chances for a playoff spot.
For The New England Patriots, this game went down in the history books. For the first time in Franchise history the Patriots had 500+ yards in two straight games, Cassel threw 400+ yards, which was the first time since Billy Volek in 2000, and Welker made 6+ catches in every game, breaking the NFL record.
Some could say that this was just another great Sunday afternoon in New England.
