98 Celtics, 80 Pistons
Not to brag but this guy predicted the score would be 98-80 Celtics last night and being 1 point off is pretty incredible in my eyes. However, I got a question. Are the Pistons even worth getting amped up about anymore? I don't think so. The Celtics have beat them 9 out of the last 10 times, knocked them out of the play-offs and even if they still had Billups, their window was still slammed shut.
For the second time this year the Celtics put the defensive clamp on the Pistons and had all cylinders working on offense. Rajon Rondo is proving game after game that he is the quickest and one of the best young point guards in the league. Last night he out quicked Allen Iverson constantly and finished with 18 points, 8 assists and 3 steals. In a game that Paul Pierce only had 9 points we got a lot of help from our bench especially as they had a combined 42 points with Tony Allen chipping in 13 and Eddie House having 11.
This was another impressive victory both offensively and defensively and if the bench can play like this close to every night. Watch out league.
