Thursday night in Denver, BC takes on North Dakota. Then Michigan and Notre Dame take the ice. BC and North Dakota played earlier in the season, skating to a 0-0 tie in 2 periods (the game was called after 2 periods due to poor ice conditions brought about by humidity. I was at that game, and sweat my balls off).
So far this season, BC has won every big game they've been in. They beat BU, then Harvard in the Beanpot. They beat Northeastern on the last night of the regular season to secure home ice in the Hockey East Tourney, then beat Providence 5-1 on back-to-back nights, then outlasted UNH in triple overtime before crushing Vermont to win the Hockey East title.
BC has been in the title game each of the last two years, losing to Michigan State in 2007, and Wisconsin in 2006. They'll beat North Dakota, but fall to Michigan in the finals, because like all other BC sports, the hockey team has a way of building up your hopes before crushing your dreams.
