Screw The NBA

The NBA is trying to make it so kids have to spend one year in college before being eligible to be in the NBA draft. I hate this, if a kid wants to play in the NBA, let him play. It is absolutely ridiculous to have a kid spend one semester probably taking 4 easy classes, than not going to class after the tournaments over. I understand the NBA wants to do this to get a feel for these kids (Kwame Brown), however, there is no reason Michael Beasley, Derrick Rose, Greg Oden, etc. need to prove anything in college basketball. Forcing these kids to go to school is putting them at risk for a career ending injury, and a potentially lower draft pick if they do not fit into a system correctly. If anything it makes a mockery of colleges because they are really not "student-athletes" and takes a scholarship from a potential great player. Shame on David Stern and the NBA.

Oh that's really how Michael Beasley acts in class
