At the start of this game I wouldn't have thought this would be the end result. There always seems to be an unlikely hero when we play the Pistons. Last year it was Glen Davis (who's first name is Ronald) and this game it was my man Tony Allen who finished with 23 points. The Celtics started off slow then absolutely whooped the shit out of the Pistons. The Celtics had a great 2cnd quarter and finished with a 30-10 difference. For the rest of the game the Celtics had the score around 20 points.
It looked as if the Pistons and AI are still trying to figure each other out and their offense looks confused. The Celtics were able to hold AI to 10 points and Rip Hamilton to three points, which is really unheard of. This game was perfect for the Celtics because it gave everyone much needed rest. Tony Allen was unbelievable this game on both offense and defense and if you read this guys pregame you could see that I predicted that. Anyways, good win and good start to this killer week.
