Little Dusty Wins Gold Glove

Dustin Pedroia has won the 2008 AL Gold Glove for 2nd base. Little Dusty reported for duty all year, and this may just be just one of the awards he could be bring home this offseason (MVP?). WEEI is reporting this story (it's not official till 4pm), but I have to say I'm a little surprised that Youk isn't getting a Glod Glove for 1st, but anyways it is always good to see a Sox guy getting an award. Pedroia's .992 fielding percentage was second among AL second basemen ( at least 100+ games), but he handled 165 more chances than percentage fist place Mark Ellis. Boston certainly played great defense this year, and as a whole were on of the best defenses in the MLB.
