Lynch To Retire

John Lynch, who had a hell of a career, will retire Monday during a news conference in Tampa, Fla. Lynch has made the Pro Bowl 9 times, and will definitely be a first ballot Hall of Famer. The odd thing about this story is that he will retire as both a Tampa Bay Buccaneer and a Denver Bronco. I don't really get this. His best years were in Tampa, where he spent 11 of his 15 seasons. Seems odd to me that he will also go in as a Bronco, but maybe he really enjoyed his time there. During his long career Lynch had 1,277 tackles and 26 interceptions, while playing in 224 regular-season games. I really thought after Harrison went down, that Lynch would join the Patriots, since he was on the team in the preseason, and left on good terms. I guess the Patriots really believe in Sanders, and Meriweather. Anyways, good career Lynch, enjoy the Hall of Fame.
