Manny Ramirez

A week before Boston traded Manny Ramirez to the Los Angeles Dodgers late last July, the relationship between the Red Sox and their left fielder had grown so contentious and strained that the club was prepared to take the extraordinary step of suspending its best hitter, ESPN has learned.

My take. Who gives a fuck. Manny isn't on the team anymore so there should be no more news on him. This is starting to get ridiculous on the Red Sox end. I almost want to take Manny's side on this because the Red Sox are acting like a jealous girlfriend. Stuff like this doesn't need to be released to the press.

Manny was a great player for the Red Sox, it was time to move on and that should be the end. I personally think whenever Manny retires we should retire his number in Fenway, but with the way the Sox are acting I wouldn't blame him if he wanted nothing to do with us.
