Tom Brady Injury Update

I wish I could give better news, but it is still looking rough. A story which was broken by a DC writer (Wilde) a couple weeks back (before the Herald cough, cough), he told us that Tom Brady had a serious set back after his surgery, and that they may even have to do the surgery over because of the infection. If the doctors had to do the surgery over, Brady would most likely miss at least some (if not all) of the 2009 season. The infection was treated aggressively, and it seems to be clearing up, but the delay has caused a slowing in his rehab.

Brady is not even close to where a person should be 5 weeks after knee surgery. Most people can start bike training, etc. This means everything will be slowed down, and his comeback time has to come into question. The good news is that it is still early enough in the season that he has plenty of time to turn it around. The bad news is that he is not through the antibiotics treatment, so the doctors aren't even positive that the infections is completely gone.
