- Miguel Gonzalez, who is a rule 5 pickup by the Red Sox left yesterday's practice with soreness in his right pitching elbow. Francona says he'll get an X-Ray, and he should know what is wrong with him in a day or two.
- Don't be surprised if Lester gets rocked in the Spring Training games as he will be throwing a lot of fastballs and changeups, because it is good for arm strength and they are a little worried about over working him since he pitched so many innings last season.
