A 6-year-old boy floated away from his family's Colorado home today after climbing into a "homemade flying saucer" connected to a large helium balloon, leading local and federal officials to figure out how to rescue the boy as the experimental aircraft raced through the sky.
Officials in Larimer County are actively searching for a child who literally floated away from his family's home on an experimental aircraft.
According to a statement by the Larimar County Sheriff's Office, the boy climbed into the experimental aircraft's access door, which they believe can rise as high as 10,000 feet.
Shit's crazy.

The balloon has landed, but there is a problem....the boy isn't on it. He is now missing.
