About a week ago, I said that I wanted the Sox to do nothing. Not sign one free agent, but obviously they didn't listen to me. I don't like John Lackey, it's not for any real reason other than he has a douche bag face, but I guess teaming him up with Beckett, Lester, and Dice K can't hurt the team. He will be a solid 3 pitcher actually the best in the league probably so I can't complain. This move hopefully means that Clay is out the door for either Miggy or Adrian Gonzalez. I also am fine with the Mike Cameron signing too. He's great defensively and his 2 year, 15 million dollars are a hell of a lot cheaper than Bay's 80 million dollar he was looking for. I think Mike Cameron will be frustrating as hell to watch, but he has some pop in his bat and will most likely be one of my favorite players on the squad.
All in all, I will give them a B+ for yesterday's transactions.
