Sunday Game Recaps: The Browns Do A Bunch Of Cool Things
41 Cleveland, 34 Chiefs
Let's see Josh Cribbs ran two touchdowns back for touchdowns (both over 100 yards) and set an NFL mark with 8 returns for touchdowns. Meanwhile, Jerome Harrison decided to have the third best running game in NFL history with 286 rushing yards. Too bad their terrible.
37 Pittsburgh, 36 Green Bay
This was the only game in NFL history that ended with the score 37 to 36, and might be the best game of the season. Ben Roethlisburger has a fling for the dramatics as he hit Mike Wallace for a very Santonio Holmes -esk touchdown at the end of the game. And he had a hell of a game with throwing over 500 and 3 touchdowns, the only qb to do that since 2006.
27 Titans, 24 Dolphins
The Titans tried to blow this game by blowing an 18 point lead, but Rob Bironis and Vince Young were able to seal the game in overtime. Vince is now 7-1 as a starter and the Titans are a remarkable 7-7 after starting 0-6.
20 Oakland, 19 Denver
Jamarcus Russell leads the Oakland Raiders to a victory against the Broncos. I think that is the first time I have ever typed that.
26 Carolina, 7 Minnesota
This makes no sense to me but Carolina pulled it off against the Vikes. Steve Smith had a great game with 9 receptions and 157 yards and a touchdown. Too bad the Saints didn't win or they would have clinched home field throughout.
those are the only games worth my time.
