NFL Recap

Tennessee 19 Green Bay 16
The Titans are 8-0, but it wasn't easy. Rob Bironas had a chance to win it as time was expiring, but missed. He got a chance for redemption in OT and made it count, as the Titans squeaked by the ever improving Packers. The Packers looked better then they have in a while, and I think they will continue to improve as they get more and more healthy. Rodgers once again threw for over 300 yards, but the Packers run defense was horrible letting up 178 yards.

How much longer till people start talking about the Titans running the table?

NY Jets 26 Buffalo 17
The wheels are falling off for Buffalo, and now if the Patriots lose tonight there will be a 3 way tie for first in the AFC East (Pats win they will take over 1st). Favre once again sucked, but 2 key INTs turned the game in the Jets favor. The Jets defense really looked good, and recorded 5 sacks on Edwards, who really looked out of it today.

Miami 26 Denver 17
I guess it is finally time to stop taking the Broncos seriously. They have just been awful for the past couple of weeks, and now they drop a home game after a bye. On the other side of things, Miami is making the AFC even more interesting as they are only 1 game out of first (2 if Pats win). Miami has been a weird team all year, they beat teams they are supposed to lose to, and lose to terrible teams. Pennington continues to manage the game well, and the defense causes big turnovers. Cutler really looks terrible lately, as he threw another 3 INTs today, and the Broncos showed no running game.

Anyone else thinking that maybe it is time for Mike Shanahan to go?

NY Giants 35 Dallas 14
Brad Johnson is terrible, and looks like he should have retired a long time ago. The Cowboys have a lot of injuries, and its starting to look like their season might be over before they are able to get healthy. Eli had 3 TDs, but still somehow I can't take him seriously. Brandon Jacobs is a beast, as he ran for 117 yards, but the Giants defense was the biggest difference intercepting three passes, and forcing 1 fumble.

Prediction: Wade Phillips is fired before week 11
