The Lakers were just too much for the Cavs to handle.
The Lakers became the first team in NBA history to win back-to-back games, both on the road, against teams with .800-plus win percentage at least 40 games into the season. And they looked like the best team in the NBA as the scoring was spread out and they actually played team ball. Lamar Odom had 28 points and 17 rebounds, Gasol had 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Kobe had 19. The key to this game was how they played defense on LeBron. LeBron score only 16 points on 5-20 shooting and looked off all night. With this win, I don't think anyone questions that the Lakers are the best team in the NBA.
