This is going to be more of a rant than a preview, but here we go.
Fuck Kobe, Fuck LeBron, and Fuck what they do a Madison Square Garden. Being a Celtics fan I will let Kobe get his 61 points and I will let LeBron get his stats, but in the meantime, I will watch the Celtics win another championship. I don't know where all these reporters get off by caring what those two potential MVP Candidates do against the Knicks. This is the same Knicks team that has a bunch of scrubs because they don't care about basketball until 2010.
Tonight we will see what a team looks like. With KG coming back, and the starting line-up in tact, we will defend our home court. We lost earlier to the Lakers on Christmas and that sucked, but tonight redemption will rear his ugly head. The Celtics have been on a tear of late and they have been blowing teams out of the water easily. The Lakers come into tonight's game with a devastating loss with starting center Andrew Bynum for 8-10 weeks. That should make things easier for the C's, but we know what they are going to do. They are going to put Kobe on Rajon and make the point guard beat them from the outside. Let's all face it, Rajon is not going to beat any team with his jump shot, but he can and has beat teams with his speed. The key to the game and so many games fall on the broad shoulders of number 9. If Rajon can make Kobe work on defense, that will make his offense dip a little bit. KG has missed a couple games with this flu and I expect him to be a little rusty, and be a little more tired then he usually is. But at the end of the day, the Celtics will win this game and win it thoroughly.
Tommy Award: Rajon
Score: Celtics 131-92 (If anyone was wondering, that was game the game 4 score)
Now for The Answers thought

"It's not just another game, it's Celtics vs Lakers" That's what Phil Jackson said in his interview yesterday and he's is right on. This isn't just another game. Lets get real, this is a finals preview. This game is important to both squads. Kobe had a great quote as well, "This is the team that got blown out game 6 of the Finals last year, this is a huge measurement as to how far we've come" Thats right no Bynum tonight. I think this is the biggest regular season game each of these team have...the last team they face off before the finals. This is the game that will be in every players head when that day comes. The keys to tonight's game...we need a lead early. KG won't be 100% so he'll need rest. But to contradict myself I've never seen a more intense human being so that may be the difference make in him tonight. We are going to see a huge game from Ray Allen. Yes, because he his a game winning buzzer beater. Do you understand what that does to your confidence level. God help us all but I think he's going to be flirting with a single game 3-point record tonight. I'm not saying he's going to break the record, I'm just saying he'll be close enough where the topic will get brought up. For the most part of the Sixers game he was off...until it counted. Just watch what he does. Rondo needs to have a big game. I notice in all the Laker Celtic games Rondo doesn't get much attention. It's the way Phil Jackson coaches, if the Celtics win, he wants Rondo to be the guy that has a big game. This theory is based highly off the assumption that Rondo can't put up points like the big three. That's why he needs to have a big game. No assuming this game is close, and I'm sure it will be, the final 5 minutes of the game will be Paul Pierces time. Paul doesn't need 30 points a game, he just has one demand. When the game is on the line he wants the ball. No questions asked. Whether he makes a good pass or an unreal shot, the offense is run through Paul Pierce.
