Key Pick Ups:
Randy Wolf P
Guillermo Mota P
Claudio Vargas P
Casey Blake 3B
Key Losses:
Derrick Lowe
Prad Penny
Takashi Saito
Jeff Kent
Andruw Jones
Manny Ramirez(?)
Batting Order:
1 Rafael Furcal SS
2 Matt Kemp CF
3 Russell Martin C
4 Casey Blake 3B
5 James Loney 1B
6 Andre Ethier RF
7 Blake DeWitt 2B
8 Juan Pierre LF
This line-up hinges entirely on the return of Manny Ramirez. If Manny returns I have faith in this lineup, if he doesn't they have Casey Blake as their clean up hitter. The one positive the Dodgers do have is that the line-up is extremely deep. They have a bunch of quality players, but none that will wow you.
Pitching:
1 Chad Billingsley RH
2 Hiroki Kuroda RH
3 Clayton Kershaw LH
4 Jason Schmidt RH
5 Shawn Estes LH
Alt James McDonald RH
Top Bullpen Arms:
CL Jonathan Broxton RH
RP Hong-Chih Kuo LH
RP Cory Wade RH
RP Guillermo Mota RH
RP Ramon Troncoso RH
The pitching is ridiculously weak. The loss of Lowe, Penny, Saito will kill this team. Billingsley is shaky and the rest of the guys are unknown. Obviously, I am a Kuroda fan, but I don't think that they are going to be able to support this team. Put money on the Dodgers have a bottom 5 era in the league.
Minors:
James McDonald: SP: I believe he will be pitching for the Dodgers once the season starts, and if he is not. Then the Dodgers are making a huge mistake.
Andrew Lambo:OF: He is far too young to count on this year, but there is a lot of pop in his bat long term.
Overall:
Get ready for a let down. The Dodgers are going to be terrible this year. They will be less terrible if Manny is on there team, but all in all they will have a very down year. Their pitching is terrible and I don't care how many runs you score, if your pitching is bad, your team is bad.
Record 68-93
