Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger played the Super Bowl with broken ribs, SI.com's Peter King has reported.
Coach Mike Tomlin had denied any injury problem with Roethlisberger in the week before the Super Bowl.
Can anyone question Roethlisberger's toughness now? In a league full of wussies, pansies and QBs taking vacations to tropical places rather than rehabbing or getting ready for the next game, it is good to see an actual football player. I made claims that Ben is already a hall of famer, and this does nothing but help his cause. He is a the definition of a football player, and you will not see him on the cover of GQ or advertising Stetson anytime soon.
