The move means the Bobcats point guard will report on time to training camp next week, then become an unrestricted free agent next summer. Felton is one of my favorite players in the NBA, and I think he is kind of underrated in the NBA. Felton averaged 14.2 points and 6.7 assists last season, and I feel like he can still grow a lot more. This downfall is his love for North Carolina, since he is stated several times he wants to stay in Charlotte. In my eyes the Bobcats will always suck. Still, this is a one year deal and hopefully he gets pissed off and takes over after the season is over. If he came to the Celtics I would be the happiest boy this side of the Mississippi.
