The first upset in the A-10 tourney. St. Joe's pretty much dominated Xavier for the whole game.
Xavier must not have really cared figuring they are already guaranteed a spot in the big dance. Last year, they did the same thing against URI. Pat Calathes of St. Joe's scored 24 points and Ahmad Nivins had 15. The real story of the game was St. Joe's defense. Xavier couldn't get their outside shooting going and only shot 37 % for the game. This win also, pretty much guarenteed St. Joe's in the NCAA tournament.
