Last time the Celtics played the Mavs, it was these hands that stole a rebound from 7 foot Dirk Nowitzki and had a go ahead lay-up. Tonight, the Celtics are in Dallas trying to win the Texas Trifecta (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio). Tonights game will be a challenge and will be the first time we have seen Jason Kidd in a Mavs uniform since he was drafted. The Mav's line-up is Kidd, Stackhouse, Howard Nowitzki, and Dampier with Terry being the first off the bench. Ray Allen will play tonight, and that will be huge when it comes to spreading the floor. Dallas lost a lot of their depth in size in that Kidd trade and I believe if we take it often into the paint this game will be pretty easy. I also believe that Rajon will be able to get to the basket at will against an aging Jason Kidd, so that will be an interesting match-up to watch. Defensively, I say, let Dirk beat us and have the other players not factor.
My Tommy Award goes to Kendrick Perkins.
