What it came down to is Rick Pitino coached better than Bruce Pearl. You could see it all the time through their defensive sets. Also, UL dictated the pace and style of play the whole game. For UL 5 players scored in double figures which included: Williams, Padget, McGee, Smith, and Clark off the bench. For Tennessee, both Smiths and Lofton scored in double figures. I realized that Tenn was extremely overrated, Lofton shot 7-33 this whole tournament. It was my fault for putting so much faith into him. Anyways, Louisville now plays UNC to get crushed.
