NFL News

DJ Hackett was signed today by the Carolina Panthers. Free agent wideout D.J. Hackett agreed to two-year, $3.5 million deal with Carolina on Monday as the Panthers continued to upgrade their receiving corps according to ESPN. I like this signing, and I like the Panthers WR corp even more now with Smith, Muhammed, Hackett and eventually Jarett. D.J. is still young and if healthy can put up Wes Welker numbers in a Panthers uniform.

Longtime Packer Bubba Franks is now going to be in a Jets uniform. In order to add depth to TE, Franks will be competing with Chris Baker who had a terrible season. I like this signing also. The Jets have made a tons of moves this off-season, and on paper they seem to be great.
