53 UCLA, 49 Texas A&M
As my brother told me last night "this game was a little too close for comfort." However, UCLA won the game and the better team prevailed. Texas A&M had the lead for a majority of the game but lost it at the end. Darren Collison (UCLA) hit the go ahead shot with 9.5 seconds left and A&M wasn't able to retake it. Freshman Kevin Love(UCLA) had 19 points including some clutch baskets along with 11 rebounds. Donald Sloan had a team high 12 points for the Aggies and their other scorers were pretty even across the board. Hopefully, UCLA's next game will be a little bit more precise.
