The Celtics led from jump street last night and easily handled Derrick Rose and company. DP wasnt far from the final score as the C's took a 96-80 win. The game was on ESPN again and there was much rejoicing. That being the case i got to watch the whole thing and to me there isnt much more id rather do in life than watch the C's. Especially when they play a game last night and everyone gets to see some minutes.
Gabe Pruitt looked pretty confident last night and Hard Work Leon Powe did what he does and played hard walkin away with 13 pts with 6 bounds. rajon was matched up with the rookie Rose and did Rajon played spectacular- 14 pts and 6 ast. KG reached his 1,000th game last night making him the youngest player ever to reach this milestone, he celebrated with 18pts and 10 boards.
Something that also makes me so happy is the chemistry between all the Celtics. ESPN did a great job of capturing the intimate moments on the bench between KG and Paul, and Rajon and Ray. And when KG was going nuts in the last 2 or 3 minutes over a Big baby foul, Doc jokingly told him to sit down and calm down, the reaction on KG's face made me warm and fuzzy inside--no homo.
Their next game is Tues against the Rockets on TNT i believe
