The Bruins (33-8-5) are trying to avoid their first 3 game losing streak since October, and they are going to have to do it with some of their players still on the shelf. The good news is the Bruins are going against Toronto (17-22-7), who they have beat 3 out of 4 times this year.
Toronto is going to have a hard time scoring tonight, as the Bruins have great goaltending, and the Maple Leafs rank 28th in the NHL in scoring. The Leafs are also 3-6-1 in their last 10 games, so I really think the Bruins will be able to get by them even if they only score 2-3 goals. It also looks like Ward will be back for tonight's game, which will added even more defensive help.
Manny Fernandez will once again not be in net, because of his sore back. That means the Bruins will be seeing more of Tim Thomas, which isn't a bad thing. Game is at 7:30pm on NESN.
