Magic 99 - Cavaliers 88

If you didn't watch this game, shame on you. If you didn't know about this game, you sir do not know basketball. For no game should be more important to Celtics fans outside of our own schedule then this match up of Eastern Conference foes. Percentage wise, the Cavs have the best record in the NBA and the Magic are playing red hot basketball winning 13 of their last 15 coming into last night. It was a game that sparked a great deal of interest to those of us trying to come to some conclusions as to the strengths of this revitalized Eastern Conference. And a swing game to say the least for both these teams.

Obviously in a game like this two major names are going to be thrown around consistently, LeBron and Howard. And Howard was the only one of these two that threw down some big time numbers, he had 22 pts and 18 rebounds....fucking filthy.
King James didn't couldn't even get to the free throw line until 4:50 remained in the 3rd quarter. This obviously made the cavs upset and they claimed that recently LeBron has not been getting any calls because the refs are trying too hard to refuse him superstar treatment. fuck all that, and fuck him and his crab walk. Sure refs look at him differently then they do say a Anderson Varejao, but hes not NOT getting calls. silliness.

Orlando played with much more confidence then did the Cavs. As the game began to inch closer and closer to its conclusion, i found Clev settling much more for jump shots then they should have been. Orl was pulling plenty of shots from beyond the arc, but that's what they do. They are close to, if not the, best three pointing team in the league. Last night they made 11-33. not a fantastic percentage, but if they can take 33 three point shots and still win by a healthy amount, then the blame falls on Clev.

So what does it all mean for us, the green machine faithful? Lets think about this. We were bested by a red hot Cleavland Cavalier squad back on Jan 9Th but then we handled the Magic and Dwight Howard like they were nothing back on the 22Nd of this month. I love this league. So who should we fear more come playoff time? The Cavs always play us with a chip on their shoulder, but the Magic have the surprise element. Every time i watch them i almost don't believe them. Rashard Lewis is the man, and when Hedo gets going, this Turkish bastard can drain em. So i cant answer this question as of right now. I feel confident we will best both when it needs to happen, however we must all remember to pay attention to the enemy. All eyes are on Boston around the league, lets make them blink first.
