Celtics vs Mavs Preview
Here is the Celtics pregame told to you by The Answer
So, I'm trying to get people to go DuelingCouches.com and I think I've been pretty successful at doing so. I received a message of critique the other day that got me thinking. We always predict the Celtics to win. Every game. Its true, we love them and we are biased. But guess what friend, what would you do? We aren't talking about the Thunder. We are talking about the reigning champions. They should win every game. If we predicted them to lose and we were right, it would just be a lucky guess. If the Celtics go out play defense, Rondo has a good game, and one of the big 3 is on, we win every single time. Sometimes that doesn't happen and we lose. How the fuck are we supposed to know when that is going to happen? We aren't Nostradamus. We just have opinions. So, speaking of the Celtics coming off a great win against Orlando I'm doing the predictable. I'm picking them to win Sunday against Dallas. Dirk just isn't enough to beat the entire C's team, especially since his shadow will be one, 6'11 ans 3 quarters Kevin Garnett, All Star Starter and former defensive player of the year. Though. I wouldn't be surprised to see Paul Pierce and KG switch off. Dirk can hit the long ball and he's probably a little faster than KG. But, lets just say one thing that is a guarantee. The C's defense, on night or off night, never let you go to your first option on offense. Dirk wont be dropping 31 like he's averaged in his last 4 games. He's gonna maybe have 25. But, long ball competitions aren't something you want to be involved with when we have Ray Allen and Eddie House off the bench. Jason Kidd, well I imagine how dizzy you will be when this game is over. Rondo is just a better athlete. He's younger. Maybe 5 year ago this would be a match up, but I don't think it will be much of a challenge for double R. In fact, double double from Rajon Sunday. I truly think Dallas' other weapon is Brandon Bass. This guy can play and I think he's underrated, but, again your not outplaying finals MVP Paul Pierce. So now my friend s you see why we always pick them to win. The weapon are endless. Dallas is a gritty team and I think it will be close for a while. But I hope it's a blow out because I want to see big baby get some minutes and Bill Walker get some time. So yes Boston wins 101 to 87.
P.S. Bill Russell's wife Marilyn passed away so lets win.
