On his NFL.com blog, Adam Schefter has speculated that the San Francisco 49ers may be angling to bring former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick into the mix to be the team's new field general, should Vick be reinstated by the league when his prison sentence is over.
My opinion is known, and I feel like Vick should never touch a football field ever again, because what he did is inexcusable. However, if the league lets him back in the NFL, why wouldn't the 49ers do this? Shaun Hill, JT O'Sullivan and whoever they throw back there sucks, so you have nothing to lose by signing Vick. Best case scenario is that he is the exciting play making qb that he was in Atlanta, worst case scenario, he sucks and you cut him. Do it San Fran if you can, but Vick should burn in hell.
