This move will actually benefit the Raiders greatly. After Tom Cable took over for Lane Kiffin mid season the Raiders actually played decent. He got Jemarcus Russell to actually look like a decent qb, and had the Raiders win the last two games of the season. This will greatly effect the development of Russell and the tuning of Darren McFadden to the NFL game. I predicted that Russell will be pro bowl bound next year, and this makes me even more confident on my bold claim.
