Bruins @ Senators Preview

Sometimes it is really amazing to think how much the Bruins have changed from just a year ago. Last season they finished tied with the Ottawa Senators. This season the Bruins have the best record in the NHL, while the Ottawa has been awful, and just fired their coach.

Boston is 5-0-1 in their last 6 games, and have to be thinking that tonight will just be another notch in the old belt. Bruins have a huge advantage when it comes to scoring goals, as Ottawa is in last place with a 2.35 goals per game average, while the Bruins have had little trouble scoring with the likes of Kessel, Krejci, and Savard.

Tim Thomas is coming off one his better games, as he made 25 saves in Wednesday's 3-1 win at Philadelphia, improving his NHL-best save percentage to .934. Not sure if he will be starting again tonight, but even if the Bruins have to go with their young goalie, this will be a very easy win for the surging Bruins.

Game starts at 7:30pm on NESN
