The Bruins threw 41 shots at Vokoun and the Panthers, but it wasn't enough to put a single goal on the board as they lost 2-0. Boston had plenty of chances, but Vokoun had the game of his life, which was capped off with a leg first sliding safe to stuff a Bergeron wraparound.
Florida is now 14-5-3 since the new year, and their goaltending has been amazing. It was 0-0 going in to the final period, but that didn't last long as the Panthers scored less then 2 mins into the period. Boston once again had a hard time getting out of their zone on the breakout. It seems like their wings are playing way to low. Still, if you have 41 shots you should at least have a couple goals. Boston had lost its ability to finish a play, and I bet you will hear a lot more about how the Bruins need to trade for a finisher. Anyways Bruins play again today at 5pm against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
