It's looking more and more likely that the Red Sox and Angels will meet in the AL division series for the 3rd straight year. Boston has rattled off 6 wins in a row, while the Angels have lost 2 straight. Tonight we will see Paul Byrd take the hill against Joe Saunders.
We kind of seen everything from Byrd. He has given the Sox a good game, a bad game, and the last one was right in the middle. Byrd tossed 6 shutout innings in an Aug. 30 win over Toronto, then was tagged for 7 runs in just 2 1/3 innings of a Sept. 4 loss at Chicago. He didn't get a decision last Wednesday after allowing 2 runs in 5 innings of Boston's 7-5 win over Baltimore. In short there is no way of knowing what we will see from him tonight.
Joe Saunders has been much better of late allowing only 3 runs in his last 19 1/3 innings (3 starts), but has struggled at time at Fenway Park. There is no word yet if the Sox will have V-Mart and/or Youk in the lineup tonight, but if you check in around 4pm we should have the starting lineups...
***UPDATE***
Victor Martinez (personal matter) and Kevin Youkilis (back spasms) are again out the Red Sox lineup tonight. Here is a look at the rest of the lineup...

4. Mike Lowell, 3B
5. David Ortiz, DH
6. Rocco Baldelli, RF

9. Alex Gonzalez, SS
Game starts 7:10 on ESPN.
