"Late Sunday night, Sports Illustrated reported that the Eagles were not going to anticipate QB Donovan McNabb to be ready for their Week 3 game vs. the Chiefs. McNabb sat in Week 2 as he nurses a fractured rib. According to the report, Kevin Kolb will again start with Michael Vick, returning from a two-game suspension, seeing time under center as well (Sportsline)."
Kolb wasn't awesome last game, but he wasn't terrible either. The Eagles got destroyed by the Saints, but I still think this is a very smart move by them, since the Chiefs are a joke and just lost to the Raiders. The Eagles know they can win with a combo of Vick and Kolb for next week, and the extra time off for McNabb's ribs can only help...
