Sizemore To Be Shut Down
"Indians center fielder Grady Sizemore might be shut down before the end of the season in order to undergo surgery on his left elbow. "There's still a chance we could shut him down early," manager Eric Wedge told the CC Sabathia, would be the center fielder if Sizemore's season ends early. Michael Brantley, one of the players acquired last season in the deal for CC Sabathia, would be the center fielder if Sizemore's season ends early (ESPN)."
It has been a long and terrible year for Sizemore and the Indians. Sizemore batted just .247 with 18 HRs 64 RBI with only 13 SBs. Their season is over, so they should just shit him down and get him healthy. It looks like that will happen in the next day or show. Sizemore is one of my favorite players in the MLB, so I really hope he can come back healthy next season.
