The Celtics are riding an 8 game win streak, and Ray Allen is 14 points away from having 20,000 points in his career. Tonight, we are going against a Bob's favorite and a very disappointing Wizards team. The Celtics have been extremely balanced with their scoring, but the biggest concern is how Tony Allen will play for an injured Marquis Daniels. I think he will be alright even though I am one of the few. If he can stay in control, and be smart on offense I see no downgrade from Quisy, but there are a lot of "ifs" when it comes to Tony Allen. Here are the starting lineups:
PG R. Rondo 11.0 G. Arenas 20.4
SG R. Allen 15.5 N. Young 8.2
SF P. Pierce 18.4 C. Butler 16.5
PF K. Garnett 15.4 A. Jamison 20.1
C K. Perkins 11.9 B. Haywood 10.0
Rajon has a tough assignment on Gilbert Arenas, but if he can drive on him on the offensive end, it will be tough for him to maintain his scoring. But the biggest factor the Celtics have a definite advantage is on the defensive end. If the Celtics can hold the Wizards to under 90 points it's in the bag, and that's what I expect to happen.
Celtics: 105-89
Tommy Award: Ray Allen
